The transfer of the Civic Library’s book holdings and the documentary holdings of the Historical Archives of the Municipality of Settimo Torinese (Turin) has been completed. The key figures for this transfer are: Library; approximately 71,300 volumes; periodicals from 188 publications (La Stampa, LA Repubblica, L’Espresso, Panorama, etc.); approximately 7,000 digital publications (CDs, DVDs, etc.). Historical Archives; 1,100 folders, including eight parchments from the 15th-16th centuries; 18 plates of the Napoleonic cadastral map (dating back to 1800); bulletins of the Napoleonic Government; several sixteenth-century manuscripts, as well as 1,500 folders from the modern Historical Archives. The transfer to the beautiful, spacious new Library building was carried out with our support. specialized personnel using padded vehicles and specific equipment for the movement of book and document assets.
